Yoga for #Posture and #Digestion – #Backbends for Everyone – Tutorial

If you add one minute
of yoga to your day, its a minute more than you were
doing before
Even little you know that has a
big impact. If you’re practicing yoga with
overall
firmness, good steady breath, a calm
even mind – it really is wonderful heath boon.
This is a yoga video for and everyone.
Every one can do yoga. Do you
need a yoga mat? No.
Watch the video here. Do you need yoga clothes.
No. Do you need to be
a gymnast or lose weight or
twenty years younger to do yoga? No. You can do yoga right
now. I have quite a few yoga videos
here that you can watch.
What I’m gonna do today is supported
easy back pending. Very important – we sit
in chairs and
we are like this all the time.
Texting and talking on the phone, working
on the laptop.
To help us regain our posture, taking
supported back bending with even steady breathing
with overall firmness through our
entire body
is very very beneficial. It helps lift
our pelvis, and it’s great
for the organs of digestion and elimination.
It’s wonderful
for the heart and good for overall
postural health. Okay let’s go. Bridge.
My feet are hips width
or wider. They are parallel
or slightly turned out. My shoulders,
arms and hands are firm to the floor. My
neck
is not on the floor. Using
overall strength and tone I’m going to
inhale.
Push my feet down as I lift
my hips. My feet will stay grounded
I’m gonna inhale up.
and then on the next inhale, i can come alittle higher.
Softly gazing at the tip of my nose.
I have a calm quality in the mind.
Filling the lungs all the way on the inhale,
emptying

And slowly with an exhale
come down.
Rest for about 15 seconds.
If your heart is pounding, if you broke a
sweat,
you can rest for a minute or two. Now
we’re gonna take the back bend
in the upper part the back. Extending
firm toning legs, pressing the elbows
and hands down. I’m not gonna just hang
my head back
I’m actually gonna hold it in a
supported
arch as my chest rises with
steady even breathing. This is
fish pose.
It might be easier to lay down if you bend
your knees.
first and slowly lay back and rest a moment.
