I’m Sarah Jane and in this video today
we’re going to talk all
about intermittent fasting
or IF for short.
So, why should we be
doing intermittent fasting
as part of weight loss?
Well, intermittent fasting has a number
of different benefits, but it
clears up the number one root
cause of belly fat,
Diabetes, cognitive problems,
memory problems, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s,
and any neuro degenerative diseases.
It clears up mood disorders, depression,
anxiety, and panic attacks.
So the benefits of doing
intermittent fasting
is that it’s going to
decrease insulin in the body.
It’s going to increase muscle density
and increase your energy.
Now, if you’re a male,
and you’re utilizing
intermittent fasting;
intermittent fasting can spike
testosterone by 180%.
So that’s going to really
help that fat burning ability.
It’s also going to increase
human growth hormone
and it will increase it by 2000%.
Now, there are studies that
show that strenuous exercise
also increases human growth hormone.
But, that’s by only 450%,
so intermittent fasting
will really get that fat burning going.
Now, human growth hormone
is one of the major
fat burning hormones.
It’s also one of the
best anti-aging hormones.
So, one of the main triggers
of insulin is eating.
And eating frequently.
So, intermittent fasting is
a very effective and powerful
strategy of lowering that
insulin levels in the body
and also flicking the switch
over from burning sugar,
or glucose, to using body fat.
It will also trigger
something called Autophagy.
Autophagy is one of the
benefits of doing intermittent
fasting and what Autophagy
is, is where the body
actually goes into
recycle mode and it starts
to break down old and damaged parts.
So, if you can envision within your body
a great big garbage truck
that’s going to go through
and remove all of the old rubbish
and get it out of the body,
so that’s what Autophagy is.
And then through the intermittent fasting,
it’s then going to help
start to rebuild all of those
new cells, the new muscles,
and to start to create
brand new hormones and enzymes.
So, intermittent fasting
is really an anti-aging
and a fat-burning tool,
it’s the ultimate tool.
In summary, intermittent
fasting is a very powerful
and effective strategy.
It can help to burn the body fat.
It’s going to help to improve your energy.
It’s going to improve your
mental clarity and focus.
It’s going to spike
testosterone, if you’re a male.
It’s going to spike human growth hormone.
And it’s going to improve and increase
the anti-aging process.
