So, if you’re ready, grab your mat, and let’s get started!
So, we’re going to begin by sitting down on the ground.
Cross your shins in front of you.
In sukhasana, or easy pose.
flex your feet underneath your knees, bring your hands to your legs.
sit up tall on the two sits bones at the bottom of your pelvis. close your eyes for a moment.
On your inhale, lengthen your spine.
On your exhale, begin to focus your attention on your breathing.
breathing deeply in and out through your nose.
quiet your mind for a moment as you remain here
focusing on your inhales and your exhales.
slowly come to open your eyes letting the light gently back in.
take an inhale, lengthen your spine.
and on your exhale walk your hands forward coming into a forward fold here in your easy pose
reach your arms out in front of you as far as you can looking down towards the floor
hold here feeling a stretch in your low back and breathe deeply.
slowly walk yourself up out of your forward fold. bring your hands behind you
point your fingertips away from your body and come to the fingertips
placing them behind you on the ground
on your inhale, you’re going to open your chest up towards the ceiling
using your arms on the floor to help press your chest up
looking up, open your shoulders. bring your heart’s center to reach up towards the sky
hold here for a moment
open those shoulders. spread those collarbones wide apart.
and slowly release out of your arch
from here we’re going to come through our hands and knees and come straight into a downward facing dog.
bring your hands to meet at the center of your chest, and bow your head to your finger tips. Namaste.
