See, arthritis, in ayurveda, is known as AmaVata,
See, arthritis, in Ayurveda, is known as AmaVata,
AmaVata means, it is made up of two words, ‘Ama’ and ‘Vata’.
Ama means the raw juice that is formed, when we eat something, the food, it should be digested,
if it does not digest, if our fire is not good, if our digestive fire is not good, then it does not digest, remains half-cooked.
Sir, how can the digestive fire be improved?
That also I will tell.
First, understand what is AmaVata?
If you have eaten food and it remained half-cooked, it remained raw,
then from that, which is called intermediate metabolites that comes out of it, intermediate chemicals that is called as AmaRas, raw juice.
This raw juice moves into the blood as an antigen,
due to which anti-bodies form against it and it does inflammatory reactions in joints, swelling and pain,
which results in a pain like a scorpion stings, it is named as AmaVata.
Due to air that raw juice spreads all over the body.
So don’t eat the air-increasing food, AmaVardhak (toxin increasing) food.
Now, what is the food that increases toxins?
Heavy, cheesy, greasy, those people who take more milk and milk products or mix some sour in it or consumes heavy food,
because of it the digestive fire, the fire is already less due to any depression, grief or sorrow, due to tension, so because of it the fire reduces,
the fire gets disturbed due to more anxiety and stress, due to travel also, irregular diet, irregular sleep, because of all these things the fire gets disturbed.
At that time the food that is eaten becomes toxin (AmaRas), and this causes pain in joints.
So, how to balance the fire?
Fire that reduces in Arthritis, because toxins are, heavy, cheesy, greasy, these properties I have told.

Ama means when it becomes Ama, so it is like the work is all went in vein.
That is why, the Ayurvedic speaks, Ama, in English its Ama,

say in hindi, it becomes Mama, say in English it becomes Mamma,
so it is the mother os all diseases, the AmaRas.
All the auto-immune disorders, according to ayurveda, are the results of AmaRas.
So, to avoid the formation of AmaRas (Toxins), How to control the fire?
How to balance it?
So, the fire, fire balancer are like Ginger, Dry gourd, Turmeric,
our spices increases fire, neutralizes, balances the fire.
And you have to eat ginger with your food, especially the patients of Arthritis,
those who have rheumatoid arthritis, a small piece of Ginger should be taken, Ginger,
like our medicine is there, Rumo-Gin, in that I have added ginger and, it is for rheumatoid arthritis,
so ginger and turmeric is to be used, turmeric is also like that, the similar properties,
it is known as world-winner (Vishv-Vishaj), the dry gourd,
world winner means there is no disease in this world that dry gourd cannot treat,
because the herb that treats Amaras (Toxins), so it will treat all the diseases.
So, earlier people used to eat the Halva of dry gourd also.
Yes, to calm down its air, the heaviness.
To remove the heavy, cheesy and greasiness.
The cooking that is done in our India, in that also the spices are used to calm down the digestive fire and to avoid the formation of toxins inside the stomach.
So, the people outside India are suffering more from these auto-immune disorders
because they eat more cheese, burger, half-cooked food, moreover eats more chilly eatables, drink cold-drinks and that alcohol, beer, etc.
So, cheese is a frozen thing, on it they drink chilled beer, so it all gets accumulated in their stomach.
Like this Indian people are less suffering from Arthritis, it is more outside.
And Arthritis in Indian people is because they also eat the modern food now, but to balance this fire, I have told ginger, and turmeric.
Milk and Milk products should be avoided for some time.
As to digest milk, a lot of fire is required.
Milk, cheese and curd, to digest these, AmaRas (toxins) form with these,
so to digest these, fire is necessary,
but mostly doctors say then from where the calcium will be received?
Like the calcium is received by Cow, we will also get in that way.
Cow eats the grass,
so we also should eat some leaves, Wheatgrass, Spirulina, Mint, Amla (Indian Gooseberry),
sauce of Mint-Amla (Indian Gooseberry), can eat coriander, it is very good, eat raw coriander,
suppose as the Cow eats, so it has loads of calcium, calcium, iron, magnesium, everything is in it, in coriander leaves,
in spinach leaves, everything is there.
There will be no lack of calcium.

so calcium will be in your blood, Vitamin-D will also be there, if you have consumed calcium, then it will be inside the bones.
Therefore, sitting in sunshine is very important, yoga is very important, exercise is important too and calcium, eating natural calcium is important.
Ok. In this way, you take natural calcium, milk and milk products, as they are heavy.
In Ayurveda, Milk is appreciated much, but its appreciation is because it has some features,
but it is heavy, then avoid it for sometime, because you cannot digest it.
Therefore, in Arthritis treatment, we have a Churna named as Aamvatantak Churna,
our product in Ayurveda, Amvat-antak, so which ends AmaVaat (Arthritis),
in that also, herbs like this are included, ginger, gorakhmundi, Suranjan, etc.
One more herb is there, Manjishtha, Saariva, herbs like this, those are blood-purifiers, are very good.
Castor Oil, that I use commonly, because Castor removes AmaVata (Arthritis) as,
there is a shloka in our Ayurveda, the Lion turns away the group of Elephants.
So, Castor is like this for Arthritis.
